Wedding photographer and videographer Noah Werth had the privilege of being a St Giles House wedding photographer for Samantha and Charlie’s wedding day.

Samantha and Charlie’s wedding was a stunning and elegant day punctuated by great music, lots of laughter and beautiful Dorset weather.

St Giles House has just about everything a wedding venue can offer, a beautifully restored house, an abundance of lush gardens and even a shell grotto, yes you read that correctly, a shell grotto.

Samantha and her bridesmaids were all getting ready in the house in the bridal suite. Similarly, Charlie, groomsmen and dog Goose were all preparing in the the riding house.

We’d like to just say the history, we love English homes and all the traditions that come with them and St Giles House has been so unapologetically and beautifully restored whilst keeping its age in tact…but also its name.

Who could resist becoming Mr & Mrs Giles at St Giles. The engagement also took place in Dorset, and having holidayed there many times with the dog it almost feels like a home from home. Maybe one day it will be!

We scrolled the internet for hours and hours looking for a cinematic style videographer who could deliver on photos too, that felt as natural as they did professional.

The way you capture a couple, their surroundings and the happiness of their guests tells a beautiful story and exactly what we wanted for our big day. It is, after all what you will look back on for years and years to come.

• We love walking for hours and hours with our dog Goose, though we are often juggling plates!
• Having bought an old period property in Reigate we’ve spent the last 3 years making it a home – we. are. knackered!. Gardening and renovating to be able to have our friends/family over is what we’ve been working for.
• Charlie enjoys Golf and watching Dorking play rugby + singing + playing guitar at any opportunity.
• Samantha is very creative and in between projects enjoys running and cooking.
• In brief, though it doesn’t often happen, we love nothing more than having nothing to do together.

After persuading Samantha that I wanted to wait to get married, I surprised Samantha on Hive Beach, Dorset on my Birthday during lockdown (18 months ago).

We walked along the coastline and when Samantha had a stone in her shoe, my time to strike was presented! Lots of blubbering and reflecting followed and we’ve been looking forward to the wedding ever since.

An unforgettable day in a stunning venue. The theme is black tie and we think that the period manor house with everyone dressed up to the nines will feel like jumping back in time. The backdrop is set and our loved ones enjoying every moment is what we’d like.

Being a St Giles House Wedding Photographer was an absolute pleasure, and being a part of Samantha & Charlie’s wedding day was incredible.
