Savile Club London Wedding

Wedding photographer and videographer Noah Werth had the privilege of capturing Caroline and Jonathan’s wedding at the beautiful Savile Club in Mayfair, London.

Caroline & Jonathan’s wedding day was set at the Savile Club all day with both bridal and groom preparations happening in the gorgeous rooms and bedrooms on site.

The Savile Club has just about everything a wedding venue can offer. Being located in the most prestigious area of London means it is at the height of luxury. The beautiful rooms and sweeping double staircase are an incredible feature.

Jonathan has been a member for over 10 years now. We have had lots of dates at the Savile Club and its felt like a second home at times. We thought it would make the perfect wedding venue before we even got engaged and it was the only place we ever considered.

We especially love the rooms upstairs – the dining room and ballroom – and the inviting reception with its beautiful staircase.

When we first found your website, there was an amazing video of a wedding set in Scotland against a wild highland / mountain backdrop which has really stuck with us.

We loved the drama of the shots and the way it moved from the gravitas of the ceremony to the fun of the evening. It was so professional and really made us think “Hollywood“.

It was at the interval of Don Giovanni at Glyndebourne Opera House on 21 May 2023. Jonathan misdirected me completely by casually mentioning he’d managed to get tickets only two weeks beforehand. He managed to play it completely cool even thought the train down was cancelled, and I didn’t have any clue notwithstanding the (retrospectively obvious) special treatment the staff were giving us.

Jonathan sat through the whole of the first half of the opera very nervously. At the interval, he walked me down to the picnic table he’d arranged at the lake trying very hard to give her some hints about what was about to happen.

I was still oblivious, and even the sight of a fully laid out picnic table with champagne and flowers didn’t get the ball to drop. He popped the question and of course, I said yes. He had arranged everything absolutely perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal. I managed to hold back the tears until the photographer had captured some shots but I sobbed through the whole second half of the opera.

We are trying to be very thoughtful in how we curate the experience for guests and hope they will feel like we are going above and beyond to help them have a great time.

We are lucky enough to have lots of people from a selection of diverse backgrounds travelling from places like Chile, Australia and Arizona to attend – in some cases just for the evening! Our focus is definitely on creating an event that will be worth their while and will hopefully create long lasting memories. Our goal is classy, formal, but with lots of fun and a wow factor.
