The History of the House 

Blenheim Palace is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Marlborough and it’s one of England’s great stately homes. It was built in 1705 using money from the dowry of John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, when he married Sarah Jennings. The Palace has not one, but two magnificent grand staircases! The first is known as the Marble Staircase and it was built for Queen Anne in 1712.

There are three different wedding packages for guests to choose from: the Royal Garden, the Great Conservatory, and the Marquee. The Blenheim Palace wedding videographer package may be available too.

The Royal Garden is a garden-level option that offers ceremony and reception spaces with a dance floor, bars, and sound system. The Great Conservatory is a chic penthouse-style space with glass walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Marquee will offer you an outdoors experience with a scenic backdrop.

The Ceremony Only

For ceremonies only, Blenheim Palace charges £2,500+VAT per day depending on the time of year and how many people are attending. You can choose from a range of packages or tailor make something bespoke for you!

The Ceremony and Reception Package 

This is where the majority of your budget will go. Here, you can choose from a range of different packages and extras to suit your specific needs.

The Ceremony and Reception Package includes:
