I’ve only lived in Cornwall for 15 months but one thing we love to do as a family is explore.
We’ve visited some of the stunning Cornish coastline, walked miles of sandy beaches, gazed at forgotten lighthouses and wild hard edged landscapes with awe and wonder.
Where we live is incredible and we are so fortunate to be able to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
AND, this year I get to explore some of Cornwall’s most amazing wedding venues.
I’ve compiled a list of just a few that I’m going to be filming at this year, if you haven’t had a chance to look at these places then do check them out.
I literally cannot wait for this wedding season to get underway. It’s just a few weeks to go until the wedding awesomeness ensues!
1. Tregenna Castle
Set in the insanely popular St. Ives this venue has tons to offer brides in terms of video and photography. There are so many lovely places to shoot at this venue, lush foliage, castle rooms and even a beautiful pergola to hold an outdoor ceremony. This is a goodun!
2. Lusty Glaze Beach
At Lusty Glaze, romance is their middle name. Known for it’s fiery sunsets, secret caves and secluded horseshoe shaped cove, Lusty offers an informal yet atmospheric stage to set the scene for your big day. Phwoar.
3. Carlyon Bay Hotel
On the the south coast near St. Austell we have the stunning Carlyon Bay Hotel. With it’s own private beach, acres of grounds (and a golf course!) I may have to tuck in a cheeky 9 holes before I film at this one in August this year. FOUR!!!!
4. Trerice House
Trerice House is a National Trust gem! With beautiful character interiors, plush gardens and a secluded location, Trerice is a unique and special place to celebrate your marriage. Renowned for its stillness and tranquility, add elegance to your wedding day at Trerice.
5.St. Ives Harbour Hotel
For a stylish Cornwall Wedding venue St Ives Harbour Hotel is truly magical. Cornwall weddings don’t get better than this. With a Wedding Suite for up to 150 guests, St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the UK.
